In 1965 (the fifth year of the Republic of China), construction of a production plant began, and in the same year, the production of gears began.

1972 Established a strategic partnership with Japan's TPG Hanshin Electric.

In 1980, the name quality policy was established and the first reducer was produced according to JIS and IEC standards.

In 1984, it began exporting to Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Myanmar.

In 1988, the production line of the star reducer was launched.

The first prize in 1990 was awarded: Taiwan Excellence Award.

In 2008, it passed the IS09001 certification in mainland China and the special equipment certification for garages.

In 2012, we cooperated with companies such as Foxconn and Formosa Plastics to order high-precision gear reduction motors.

In 2017, in mainland China, the company established the company “Guangdong Chengming Seiko Technology Co., Ltd.” with Dongguan Tianyi Precision Electromechanical Co., Ltd., and started the production of gears, stars and spiral gear reducers.

In 2018, invested in the second factory and established Kunshan Chengming Transmission Technology (Kunshan) Co., Ltd.
