Founded in 1984 by the Russian Machine Tool Association and the Expocentre Exhibition Center, the Metalloobrabotka is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Federation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the European Machine Tool Industry Cooperation Association. Successfully held for 19 sessions, it is the largest machine tool exhibition in Russia. Metalloobrabotka 2018 exhibited a net area of 41,000 square meters, with 1,097 well-known companies from 57 countries participating in the exhibition. The total number of visitors was 32,497.
